Phoenix Data Corporation’s Chief Technology Officer received the 2012 Computational Intelligence Society Evolutionary Computation Pioneer Award. The award, given by the Computational Intelligence Society of the Institue of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, recognizes “significant contributions to early concepts and sustained developments in the field of evolutionary computation.” Dr. Eberhart, Chief Technology Officer at Phoenix Data Corporation (left), and his collaborator, Dr. James Kennedy (middle), received the award for their invention of Particle Swarm Optimization.
